About me

My name is Luitzen, founder of Stratagenius.

My journey combines strategic thinking, curiosity, technology, and innovation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Leiden University and a minor in technology and programming. That combination shaped the way I think: I like to understand the bigger picture, but I also want to know how ideas can be made practical.

During my work in professional IT, I discovered how much value is created when strategy and technology come together. I worked on development, integrations, APIs, and improving digital processes. In that environment, I could use my natural strengths: generating ideas, building relationships, thinking strategically, gathering input, and asking questions until the better option becomes visible.

When AI started developing rapidly, I quickly saw that this was not just another IT trend. Because of my background in both strategy and technology, I recognised early that AI could change what individuals and companies are capable of. I started working with AI tools from the beginning: testing them, using them in my own work, exploring what they made possible, and learning where they are genuinely useful.

When I started my own company, I decided to focus Stratagenius more and more on helping others navigate this shift. Many small and medium-sized businesses know AI is important, but they are not always sure where to start, what to trust, or how to translate the possibilities into practical value. That is the space where I can help.

For me, strategy and creativity belong together. Bold ideas are valuable, but they need practical direction to become useful. AI creates new possibilities, but companies still need good questions, clear thinking, and sensible implementation.

Through Stratagenius, I help businesses understand what AI could mean for them, discover opportunities for improvement, automate repetitive work, and make better strategic choices. My role is often to bring a fresh perspective: to listen, challenge assumptions, connect ideas, and help reveal better alternatives.

I believe many companies are closer to smarter ways of working than they think. Sometimes they do not need a huge transformation. They need someone who can help them see what is possible, choose where to start, and take the next step with confidence.
